Josephine Gluten-Free Bakery has opened at 4927-A St. Elmo Avenue in downtown Bethesda. The bakery offers a wide range of gluten-free products, made in a 100% gluten-free and allergen-free facility. Savory and sweet waffles are a specialty. See their full menu here.
Josephine is named for owner Jean Charles' daughter, and was inspired by his wife's gluten intolerance. Charles, who hails from France - where many of the world's best bakeries are located, has gone from managing bakeries to now opening his own.

I hope this stuff tastes better than the other Gluten-Free stuff I've had before, most of which tasted like coagulated sawdust.
You should give it a try! Josephine’s products taste like regular stuff!
@12:16 PM - Lucky for you you don't suffer from celiac disease. Just stick with the mass market cheap crap at your local grocer, and leave the Gluten-Free items to those who require them. In other words, stay in your lane.
7:21 AM: Why are you assuming I don't? Please stop your gatekeeping. Thanks.
@7:21 Yes, sounds like 12:16 is not one of the 1% of people in the US diagnosed with Celiac disease. I'm not part of that 1% either.
How many stores catering to a need of 1% of the population do well?
Alot.
Way more people have this problem than even know! And it can often be at the root of health problems, like leaky gut, poisoning the whole body.
