A sign of the times is your previous two articles about businesses OPENING!
That sign is homeowner's today are not buying rugs of this style for their homes. they are more into the contemporary styles or bare flooring in the modern look.
Iranian carpet stores are notorious for holding fake "going out of business" sales.
That said, the continuing sanctions against Iran have taken a toll on these stores.
