This is no surprise considering the owners have no prior restaurant experience.
One of the owners has another establishment, Casa Oaxaca
@9:43 classic knee-jerk, no-research-done response. You're already on the internet, why not take two seconds to fact check yourself? Sad.
9:43 - Ready, Fire, Aim!
Who exactly? From another site's article about La Catrina, the owner operates a construction business:
"Reyes has lived for 22 years in Prince George’s County, where he also started a small construction business, Reyes Drywall Services Inc., in 2006. He has three children and his wife, Lisveliz Liz Nunez, 33, co-owns the bar and lounge."
No information that either owner has prior restaurant experience.
The owner of Casa Oaxaca is Raquel Zavala according to a news article from 2019 about their opening.
So.. which owner owns both establishments? I see no overlap or connection between the two.
