The Wool & Knots retail space at 7801 Old Georgetown Road in downtown Bethesda is now available for lease. Wool & Knots announced it would be closing last month. They leave behind a highly-visible corner spot at one of the most heavily-traveled crossroads in Montgomery County.

Memory lane: I remember going to this location when it was a rental video store back in the late 80's/early 90's. Super convenient being right next to a parking garage. It was always busy but died out when video renting waned. I think one or two rug stores tried doing business there before Wool & Knots. Unsure what would be a good fit there now.
