Friendship Heights pop-up bookstore to be open January 16-20
A pop-up used bookstore will be open at The Shops at Wisconsin Place in Friendship Heights tomorrow through Monday. Located near the Metro entrance at 5310 Western Avenue, Carpe Librum will operate from January 16-20, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day. High-quality donated used books, CDs, DVDs, and vinyl records will be on sale for less than $7. You can also bring your own items in those categories to donate for future sales. The sale will benefit Washington, D.C. education non-proft Turning the Page.

The real problem with DC Schools up this way is all the crime along Wisconsin Ave near River Road when Deal and Wilson let out. Warren Buffett would be appalled! He's an alumnus, you might know.
