The new Trustar Bank branch at 7901 Norfolk Avenue in downtown Bethesda appears close to opening. This past Wednesday, the bank's ATM machine was in place. Yesterday, it was hooked up to electricity and the screen was active. Counters, desks, and some furniture are in place inside. Likely still to come is a permanent, lighted sign on the building exterior. Great Falls-based Trustar has not yet announced an opening date for the branch, which replaces The Corner Slice here.
