Everything must go! at City Sports Bethesda Row (Photos)

With the entire City Sports chain in bankruptcy, the closing sale is underway at their Bethesda Row store on Arlington Road. Everything must go!

Although, as I've pointed out at many a past closing sale in town, these prices hardly constitute a true liquidation. Unless they will slowly increase toward the final day, savings of only 10-30% suggest much of this merchandise won't end up being sold here.

Even the fixtures and furniture are for sale. City Sports has already cleared out of its Pike & Rose location. It seems like just yesterday that I was promoting a job fair for the Bethesda Row City Sports.

The prices got better and better each week as Closing Day got closer for the North Bethesda (Pike & Rose) store...except that store was also moving merchandise to other stores (Bethesda, Gallery Place, Golden Triangle, Fairfax). In this case, everything really must go, so there should be incredible deals if you want to wait until the last week...but be aware that some things will sell before that.

Dyer is a true honest politician and journalist. He doesn't accept campaign donations or advertising or promotional revenue from anyone at all. Zero! Who else can claim that they are completely free of income that might sway their true opinion!!!

"Politician" may be a stretch

nobody gets into journalism for the money.
There aren't folks covering local county news making a lot.
Patch and Gazette reporters weren't exactly living in luxury high rises in Bethesda.

Looks like my supporting comment for dyer's lack of influenced bias was deleted? For what reason?
