Tara Thai sets opening date at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda (Photos)

Tara Thai's new Bethesda location at Westfield Montgomery Mall will open on May 1, according to an employee at their Montrose Crossing restaurant. The finishing touches are being put on the interior of the restaurant, which is relocating here from its original Bethesda Row location.

In other mall news, the Apple Store has set a closing date for its expansion project. The store will close on May 8, as the often crowded store expands into a larger space. Customers are being redirected to the Bethesda Row Apple Store during the closure. No reopening date has been announced yet for the mall store.

"In other mall news, the Apple Store has set a closing date for its expansion project"

Is it "news" if it's five days old?

We all know how this "store/restaurant closed temporarily for renovation" thing plays out.

Looks like those shoppers will be going to the Bethesda Apple Store permanently.

6:31 am sounds unhinged. The mall Apple store was way too small, so its expanding.

I am aware of the little network of part-time bloggers that is being assembled to provide someone else to link to in areas where my competitor's site is weak. But that doesn't mean you can post spam advertising here to promote it. Deleted in 3...2...1 Say hello to the angel investors for me!
