Signage installed at Harris Teeter in Bethesda (Photos)

The signs are up at the future Harris Teeter at 8300 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda. They were installed on both facades of the store yesterday at the corner of Battery Lane and Woodmont Avenue. One is for the Starbucks inside of the store. There's also a nice light sculpture of the Harris Teeter logo (bread, fish, apple), and a smaller version of that.

Not much has changed inside since my report last week, other than additional shelving being moved in. It does look like they're ahead of schedule on the promise of a late summer opening. The store is in the Flats at 8300 luxury apartment building.

Meanwhile De Tapas just missed their promise to open in "Spring 2016".

Happy Summer, everyone!

Too bad they didn't add more retail, they have so much street frontage! Even the mail room gets big glass walls onto the street on Battery. Convert it to more retail please!

Will they have a discount section so you can afford it Robert?

7:03 You obviously can't handle the fact that Robert's time is his own. Man up and deal with it.

What does that even mean?

It's gonna be awesome and empty just how I like it.
