Mention "Bethesda Row" to receive a free small plate appetizer off the new Aperitivo menu (Sharing boards not included). Drink specials will include $4 Italian imports, $6 cocktails, and $6 Italian wines.
Enjoy happy hour at Carluccio's every weekday, from 4:00-7:00 PM.

Robert, will you be attending? I'd love it if you were there playing some of the musical stylings found on Out For Revenge
Time for a Dyer blog-reader meetup!
Place stinks. Went today for first and last time. Have three sandwiches that's it. Touch of Italy from Delaware would crush them. This place won't survive
We had great food and never noticed the lack of sandwiches. Do most Italian restaurants usually have sandwiches?
I live in Bethesda ... I don't do free. Know your readership Dyer.
4:51: I do know my readership: not everyone in Bethesda is rich.
2:07: Are you sure you're talking about Carluccio's? Everything I've had there is great and very fresh.
Well, it was billed as a restaurant/Italian market. You would think they'd have sandwiches, soups, etc made to order. Touch of Italy is exactly that concept and if they expand here, they will crush this place. To be fair, the Italian market in Bethesda, is ok but not what it used to be.
The Waltons would never take free food. As John Sr. often noted, while they may have been poor, they were too proud to take charity.
@ 5:17 AM How is it the restaurant's fault that their menu wasn't what you assumed it would be? Is it really the exact same concept if their menus are that diverse?
Sounds like you're trying to franchise Touch of Italy in this market.
Maybe you only know the poor people Robert. Everyone in Bethesda is a millionaire with a Maserati. Get a clue.
#DyerisaVampire!
Sure. Sure there was nothing wrong with the alleged posts. Sure. We believe you.
"We" = 12:04 PM and Robert Dyer
How come my post got deleted about the happy hour?? I went and it was fun. I don't get why I would get deleted.
Can someone explain Robert Dyer's comment policies or is this just plain censorship? I didn't think he did that anymore?
8:29AM ---Think about it. There must have been something. You're sharp, you'll see it. I never saw the original, but saw a followup, and can see possibly why. Don't necessarily agree, but not my blog, not my rules, not my business. :)
Ok let's see what was a violation of comment policy.
1) I was present at the happy hour
2) I learned of the happy hour through this blog.
3) I inquired about the free appetizer this article mentioned.
4) I mentioned the code this article said to use.
8) I enjoyed the free appetizer and the new place.
9) I will happily go back again.
10) I will continue to read this blog and enjoy it
11) I will continue to post comments that seem reasonable and constructive.
@5:01, That is so bizarre Dyer keeps deleting comments about the code. We actually went to the happy hour based on this blog post, had constructive and pertinent comments, yet they keep getting deleted.
#dodgingdyer
Deleted mine too. This last time all I did was offer possible reasons and not delve into conspiracy theories.
Now we know what, just not why.
If he would provide some sort of explanation at least, it wouldn't be so sketchy. He prides himself on transparency and exposing shady happenings.
F you!
5:18PM = Fidiot.
Big smooch to you. Don't like it, move on.
