Bethesda's Moby Dick could get super-sized (Photos)

The planned move of Moby Dick House of Kabob into the former Stromboli space at 7023 Wisconsin Avenue looks like it's more ambitious than originally thought. A wall between the Stromboli space and the vacant Town Jewelers store next door is being punched out, apparently to create one larger restaurant space. Stromboli will then open under new ownership in the former Moby Dick space in 2018. Moby Dick remains open for business during construction.

Who owns the Town Jewelers space?

Robert, did you contact the owner of Moby Dick and Stromboli to ask them what is going on with the Town Jewelers space?

Actually it was announced more recently that Moby Dick and Stromboli would stay in their original spaces.

4:17. Having had lunch with Mike Daryoush the other day, he said moby is moving. He didn't know where the story came from about the two businesses staying in their current locations.

6:35: Thanks, Stuart. Looks like 4:17 and 4:11 were victimized by fake news.

What's "fake news" about 4:11's comment? Did you ask the owner of Moby Dick and Stromboli about Town Jewelers?

It looks like, with little fanfare, Moby Dick decided to change their plans and never open a new version of Stromboli's. https://wtop.com/business-finance/2018/06/no-stromboli-comeback-in-bethesda-after-all/
