Rock Creek Trail partial closure postponed

The scheduled temporary closure of a segment of the Rock Creek Trail in Chevy Chase has been postponed until December 16, 2019. Purple Line Partners did not provide an explanation for why the light rail construction work planned was delayed. Electronic message boards in the vicinity of the closure will display warnings when the actual closure finally occurs. See the above map for the trail detour.
