They need to lower their beer prices. I got a Kirin draft and it was $9!
6:50 AM That's cheap! I got a Stella Artois and it was $10. OUCH!
7:18 .. OMG, who can afford this place?!!??!?!
Expensive??? Its new and in Bethesda. Its not another McDonalds.
Wow..beer prices are high
Everything in Pike and Rose is overpriced. There has already been a few places that have closed up in there, wouldn't be surprised if some others follow suit. Noone wants to pay $10 for a beer and then still pay parking fees on top...
@ 7:51 thanks for making me feel poor around the holidays :(
Pike & Rose is one of the gems in the area. This is a good addition.
Downtown Bethesda could use a Pinstripes and food hall.
8:41 I am terribly poor so I just dine and dash at Pike and Rose. Haven't been caught in 3 years!
How is a "food hall" different from a "food court"?
9:36 food courts are for poor people like 9:21 and 8:41 not cool rich trendy pike and rose type folks!!! Get a clue bro!
I'm more surprised they kept two Macy's open across the street from each as long as they did.
Was anyone surprised that the one with the lesser foot traffic closed?
@ 10:21 - Bloomingdales should have been swapped out to the Galleria.
The Galleria Macy's had light foot traffic most of the time. Great for shoppers, but not feasible going forward.
Why don't any of the comments talk about the food? Is it good? Worth going? Please someone clue me in before I waste 100$ on a beer.
"The Block"?
I liked the one in Baltimore better.
WHO is HANs and WHY IS ALLOWED FREE IN BETHESDA!>?!
12:52. Hilarious good one. I’m not sure Robert knows what you are talking about
2:17: I do know what 12:52 was referring to, so it was a good piece of humor.
Then perhaps you should go visit the one in Baltimore and report back
12:27 AM You asked and here's my reply from earlier. Don't know what happened to it.
Tried the place last Saturday evening, and the worst selection of the three halls. This appears to be the smallest of the Asian food halls in the area along with the least imaginative menu selections. I tried the Singapore noodles with chicken from one of the stalls. The spice heat was over the top, as well as the curry content, not something the average diner could tolerate. It gave me digestive issues for the remainder of the night. The center bar is visually appealing, however, the specialty drinks listed is in a font and type size unreadable from even the closest bar stool. The bartender suggested I photo it and zoom in to read the drinks. Odd answer for a poor list. I ordered a run of the mill import, Stella Artois, which came with a stick shock of $10 for a single pint. OUCH! Thanks, but I'll stick with Pike Kitchen.
