Pieology closes at Bethesda Row

The closure of Pieology at Bethesda Row I reported last week is now official. After only two-and-a-half years, the pizzeria has closed and the windows are papered over. It will be replaced by Heyday, a "modern facial shop," next year.

The opposite of "too big to fail". Very few small businesses can afford Bethesda rents.

I actually liked Pieology. Especially on Monday’s when you could get two pizza’s for $12. The pies were very easy to customize to your own taste, with unlimited free toppings. Nice thin crust, and usually perfectly cooked to a nice crisp. They had a nice rewards program as well. They never did seem very busy though. Sorry to see them go.

Life is so much better when you realize everything that is wrong in the world is Robert Dyer's fault. He really is the devil #FightSatan

I would go to Bethesda Row for food. I have no need to go there to choose from a selection of spas.

Word is Bethesda is making the legal age of gluten 21. Should close 99% of the pizza joints down in Bethesda including Pieology.
