The permanent sign was installed at Levain Bakery at 4844 Bethesda Avenue at Bethesda Row last evening. Without lighting at this stage, it's pretty challenging to photograph with that color scheme - you can see how much more the white logo on the window screens beneath it pops, compared to the actual sign. The signage installation came just a day after my report on the major progress inside the space. I would speculate on a July opening at this point, but stay tuned for an official opening date.

This place should make the Bethesda Row sidewalks even more impassable, if such a thing is even possible.
6:22 Stupid comment. Bethesda needs an injection of life as retailers have been crushed by the endless shutdown. This place has a line down the block for a reason. So, congestion is their fault because their product is so desired? I see. Go sell your anti-business garbage elsewhere, we aren't buying.
