Former Kensington mayor Peter Fosselman has been appointed as director of the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Center by Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich. After serving as mayor of Kensington from 2006-2016, Fosselman has taken on several other public policy roles at the county and state levels. He served as Deputy Secretary of State under Governors Martin O'Malley and Larry Hogan, and is currently the Master Plan Ombudsman for Montgomery County.
Fosselman is an excellent choice for the directorship, as the position has in many ways become the equivalent of a mayor or city manager role, as outgoing director Ken Hartman's workload and efforts attest. He also brings an educational background in urban studies, at a time when downtown Bethesda is continuing to grow at a rapid pace. Fosselman began his career as the zoning inspector for the City of Gaithersburg, overseeing construction activity, of which there is no shortage in Bethesda these days.
"Our Regional Service Centers are critical outreach and operational hubs for a County as large and diverse as Montgomery County. The engagement and assistances these offices provide our residents are invaluable assets to our government operations," Elrich said in a statement yesterday. Fosselman's appointment was confirmed by the County Council on Tuesday.

Another corrupt liberal to join the local political cesspool. As Mayor of Kensington in 2012, this guy who reimbursed himself from Kensington Town funds for political contributions that HE made. Re-payed the town AFTER he got caught. This is not a question of a gray area but embezzlement for which he never suffered consequences. Another Pathetic Democrat.
#6:53 AM - Says the RWNJ afraid to reveal his true self.
@9:40 AM - Says the leftist who can't argue material facts that even though the WP covered it. But then again, to expect a reasoned argument defending Fosselman's behavior from a Democrat would be not only an exception, but a miracle.
Don't act like conservatives have a clean slate, and aren't in the con game as well. You talk like they are holier than thou, when you know darn well they are guilty as sin, and despicable as well. Aren't you the proverbial pot.
This is called deflection when the liberal has no argument but then again you have to live in a bubble when media outlets like CNN are your go to and all of a sudden get slapped in the face with a little truth.
"They're all guilty" thereby rationalizing bad behavior that they can't defend. Since you're already off topic; How many Republican governors have been directly responsible for thousands of deaths in nursing homes yet liberals award him an Emmy? Hint: ZERO
Please don't start that whataboutism stuff, you'll loose like a one-legged butt kicker. But if you insist on going the genocide route you should remember the likes of Gov. Rick Snyder and that tainted water problem. Let me not digress, if you want to single out killing the elderly look no further than PA Gov. Tom Wolf who is in that same boat. Now let's not forget the band of murderous Repubes, the likes of DeSantis, Abbott, Kemp, Hutchinson, Ivey, responsible for deaths of thousands of their constituents, by lying to them. You forgot to add some digits in front of that ZERO. Get the picture?
Funny that liberals hate the most successful governors in country, especially Florida where things were open to EVERYONE yet the death numbers don't tell the story Democrats wished they would.
Thank you for reminding everyone about the DEMOCRAT Tom Wolf and his Secretary of Health, Rachel Levine now Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He is responsible for thousands of deaths the same way Cuomo did in New York. But no problem for Levine's mother as she was moved out as the order went into effect. This is clear evidence that they knew beforehand what they were doing was wrong. In a normal world, it would be called PREMEDITATED MURDER but like in most liberal run courts and media outlets these days, there are no consequences. Maybe you'll award them an Emmy.
Yet things in your example of Florida are taking a dramatic turn for the worse lately.

Nothing funny about any of it.
You're lies and alternative facts no longer deserve a reply.
This is why failure is the only option for socialnorm:
6:53AM – Factual commentary about subject posting
9:40AM – Name caller comes out with no arugment
2:37AM – Reply in an effort to stay on topic
7:35 AM – Everybody does it so let’s ignore the wrongdoing ie: whataboutism
11:12AM – Pointing out the complete lack of argument and an example of pathetic behavior
11:38AM – Accusing someone of behavior they’ve already committed @7:35AM and a poor analogy. Did I mention that Tom Wolf, Democrat, “is in the same boat”?
4:37AM – Where to start here? 11:38AM is all over the place but a thanks for remembering your compatriot Tom Wolf and his then Secretary of Health.
7:23AM – Socialnorm has had enough and storms out of the room because facts are ugly things.
Not surprising that these Governors will likely never see justice.

@6:01 – The context of “funny” is not what you think it is. If you read the sentence it would imply the adjective odd or peculiar. In any case, rates are generally up across the board and forecasts for many states far exceed Florida but to fit the media narrative that is to sabotage a potential DeSantis run in 2024.

Not responding? Or is that just another lie from socialnorm?
You should expand your narrow view and look at the big picture. COVID deaths are not commensurate with positive tests despite Democrats wishes to be so.
