Halloween is still ahead, but Target at 6831 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda is already moving on to Christmas. A large shipment of Wondershop artificial Alberta Spruce Christmas trees has arrived at the store, stacked high in cardboard boxes. I like that they are identifying a specific tree species for an artificial tree.
Six feet in height, these trees come with lights already attached. It doesn't get any more convenient than that. Meanwhile, the store is winding down Halloween sales. There are only a few costumes left, such as the superheroes pictured here.

60 bucks and a dollar or 2 for some pine smell-good and icicles If I squint some, then it's almost like the real thing. Sort of like the homemade pumpkin lattes that I've been scarfiing down lately.
