Josephine Gluten-Free Bakery "opening soon" in Bethesda

Some more signage has popped up in the front window of the future Josephine Gluten-Free Bakery at 4927-A St. Elmo Avenue in downtown Bethesda. There is a photo of an waffle wrap sandwich stuffed with lettuce, tomato and hard-boiled egg slices. Next to that, it says, "Opening Soon!"

I have yet to eat anything Gluten-Free that didn't taste like congealed sawdust.

I'm a glutton for gluten.

1:10 For some, it's the only way to have a BLT or PB&J.

For the uninformed, most consumers of gluten-free products do so for life-saving reasons, not as a fad.

But I do agree, some of the gluten free products are like cardboard.
