Bethesda construction update: The Wilson (Video+Photos)

The Wilson, one of two future 290' towers at 7272 Wisconsin Avenue is now about four stories above street level. Developed by Carr Properties, the building will be atop entrances to the Red Line and Purple Line of the Metro rail system. While no major corporation has yet leased headquarters space here (not entirely shocking, given that no major corporation has relocated its HQ to Montgomery County in over two decades), the tower will be home to WTTG Fox 5.

"the building will be atop entrances to the Red Line and Purple Line of the Metro rail system."

This is incorrect. The Purple Line is not part "of the Metro rail [sic] system." The Red Line and the rest of Metrorail is under WMATA, a regional agency. The Purple Line is under the MTA, a Maryland state agency.

Again with the God damn power going off...
3 times in 4 nights on Battery Lane. Same time, same length of time. WTF is actually going on? Can someone investigation please. I asked some PEPCO workers in a truck about it and they didn't know why it was happening. Is this by design from the power utility company to route or switch or is it a result of (intentional or otherwise) of late night construction projects? Enough of this shit. I'm tired of resetting all of my electronics. #GonnaSnap

7:45: LOL. Who? Definitely not major corporations. 99% of people on the street wouldn't know either of those companies.

11:24: I've confirmed you're not alone. Residents in buildings closer to the center of downtown have reported intermittent outages as well. Now the question is, who is doing it? Marriott and 7272 Wisconsin are both doing night work on their sites.
