EmbroidMe moves to historic Wilson Store in Bethesda

EmbroidMe has moved merchandise into their new location at 4538 Middleton Lane in downtown Bethesda. Their new home is the historic Wilson Store/Community Paint & Hardware building, which was relocated to this site by 7272 Wisconsin Avenue developer Carr Properties.
The new EmbroidMe location is open weekdays from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Their current 7030 Wisconsin Avenue store is expected to close after this one has officially opened. However, the new store did not yet have any signage as of early Monday evening. Their website still gives an April 1 opening date, and rebrands the business as "Fully Promoted - Bethesda." I would suggest calling the store at (301) 656-5608 to confirm they are open here before going.

If there's no sign, is it even real?

There is no sign saying "EmbroidMe" because that is not the name of the store.

Seems very odd to have a commercial storefront entirely filled with white wood shutters. Even when open, it’s really hard to see into the store because of the white horizontal lines. Great for flexible privacy in a ground level condo, but very bad design for a retail storefront, and doomed to fail at that remote location.

4:31: No kidding, Einstein - the article clearly states the name is changing. There is no sign for the new name, either. Hence, I correctly reported there is no sign.

They've been "Fully Promoted" for over a year now, I believe they rebranded in 2017. I know because I've used them for promotional items several times since the name change.

1:25: They may have used a different name privately, but the fact is, the storefront they just moved from in April 2019 has a lit sign reading "EmbroidMe."

The new store was never called "EmbroidMe". The old store at 7030 Wisconsin Avenue isn't called "EmbroidMe" either.

BB correctly reported the name of the store, and that the former name had been phased out three years ago.

4:24: I realize you are a carpetbagger, and it certainly shows. One has to assume you are up to your usual Saul Alinsky shenanigans, trying to make me type the same thing over and over again. One more time - there is a lighted sign at the storefront they just left. It says, "EmbroidMe," dumbass.

4:46: Two days later than I reported it, Saul. Explain why you didn't leave a comment over there to criticize them for "two days late." No sir, the name was not phased out three years ago. There's a sign at 7030 Wisconsin. I took a photo to prove it. Punch yourself, dumbass.
