Additional accent lighting activated at Avocet Tower in Bethesda (Photos)

Chase Bank was ahead of the curve when it comes to downtown Bethesda's color scheme. The Wisconsin Avenue bank branch stirred up a storm of controversy when its bright blue accent lighting flooded the area around it. Marriott International's tower signage also transitions through the same color as it changes hues. Wednesday night, additional accent lighting at Avocet Tower at 7373 Wisconsin was activated. Now, in addition to the roof, it cascades down the building facade edge.

Looks really nice! You'd never know it's moribund at street level.

Lol, it's an office building. You're sad there isn't a bar in the lobby?

@9:52 AM: It would be less moribund if there was a bar in the lobby.... A bar in the lobby of an office building at a busy intersection near public transit would do very well. No wonder there's no nighttime economy in Bethesda: People like you run it.
