Harris Teeter at 4805 Battery Lane in downtown Bethesda is one of the local retailers still suffering from significant supply chain problems. Last night, there was a limited amount of milk, and shortages of other dairy products like cream cheese. The juice case was sparsely populated.
Shelves were stripped at the meat counter, and the refrigerated breakfast and lunch meats section wasn't much better. Produce shelves were also nearly empty.

It's my local grocery store. I was told they got a Full Load of Produce and it sold out within 24 hours. Apparently they were out of Produce for a few days prior so when everyone saw they got it in they bought it up very quickly !

What on earth? I've been to Safeway, Giant, and Target in the last few weeks and all were stocked just fine. What is up with HT?
In Biden's America. Disgrace.
Looks like I was smart to stock up on food and supplies when everyone said that I was an alarmist prepper. I'll be just fine.
And yet I was at the Harris Teeter on Darnestown Road yesterday and it was fully stocked.
No other stores in the area have THAT kind of supply chain problem. The Giant at Old Geotown Road, the gourmet Giant in Rockville, all Whole Foods locations, don't have it nearly this bad. There must be something going on with HT that they're in such a world of hurt.
Hey 9:04, 9:18, the rabidly, notoriously liberal Biden apologists at The Wall Street Journal says food supply issues are because of the Omicron variant.

@10:32 AM / @11:25 AM: They should all be fully stocked. The reason they aren't is because of President Biden's failed policies. Your expectations have dropped to match his failures.
