Demolition fencing was erected around the future site of the St. Elmo Apartments along St. Elmo and Fairmont Avenues in Bethesda yesterday. Some pre-demolition work has been performed in recent weeks, such as disconnecting utilities. Now we're close to actually seeing these vacant buildings come down.

Fencing around the church on Old Georgetown adjacent to BCC Rescue as well and about to go down. That site is huge. What impact on Old Georgetown will that have?
