The Organic Butcher of Bethesda opens

The Organic Butcher of Bethesda
has opened today at 7925 Old Georgetown Road in downtown Bethesda. Like the original McLean shop, the Bethesda location is an Old World-inspired, upscale enterprise with knowledgable and experienced butchers behind the counter. Along with fine meats free of antibiotics and hormones, patrons will also find a selection of seafood, fine wines and cheeses, and grocery items like eggs, bread, produce and condiments. Hours of operation are 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturdays, and 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sundays.

Yep. Drove by today. This is going to be a great option for downtown Bethesda. Butcher's Alley is a nice store and I got a nice skirt steak there recently. But as a customer of their McLean store for years, Organic Butcher really harkens back to the old days where the butcher knew his customer and more importantly, really knew his craft. Really full service. Welcome to this side of the river!

I've read so many recipes on Ms. Google that reference a cut of beef/pork that I don't see when I go to the grocery store. I can go here and find those cuts and talk to the folks that cut them. That's worth some extra money. Do they take EBT.
