How come Dyer never goes to stores when they're actually open?

Dyer covers the Bethesda retail beat quite well. He has all of the big openings and closings first. And regularly covers news at places like the Apple Store. FYI: the Apple Store is open :)
Sad to see them go. Lots of closings at Montgomery mall lately it seems.

Sometimes I wonder why you don't limit comments to authenticated users. Is it worth the 90% troll rate to get to the actual 10% of useful comment interaction?
6:50 AM It's basically one or two negative guys generating all of the strange comments. When that one guy is busy, you notice the weird comments are absent.
He repeats the same things over and over again (see 7:08 AM for example).
8:25 am there definitely seem to be quite a few voices, both negative and positive. Then there are the actual constructive comments separately. :)
But I agree with Andrew, might as well turn on authentication.

There are some weird ones that's for sure.
I mean, I inmensely dislike Dyer, but his content is usually good on his site. Great early scoops. The opinion pieces are purely that, and folks don't have to agree.

1:18 PM Disagreeing with someone's opinions is fine. I disagree with opinions, but I don't "immensely dislike" someone who has a different opinion. Major difference.
Life is too short really to have immense dislike for people I don't know or have never met.
