Sidewalk work continues in Bethesda's Woodmont Triangle (Photos)

Sidewalk renovations made possible by JBG's 7770 Norfolk luxury condo development are expanding in the Woodmont Triangle neighborhood of downtown Bethesda. Work is underway along Norfolk Avenue across from the former BlackFinn Bethesda, and as far down as Bacchus of Lebanon and California Tortilla.

Remember, businesses in the affected areas remain open during the project, which is bringing the sidewalks up to Bethesda Streetscape standards.

When will Lenny Greenhill bring his defunct properties up to Bethesda standards?

Let's see if they fence off a lane of parking so that the contractors can park for free, like they did further up the road.

Unrelated, but the escalator at the Bethesda Metro station is not working, AGAIN!!! This is beyond ridiculous!!! So, building multi-million dollar condos surrounded by a Metro no one will be able to ride!!

I think they did give the contractors free parking. The parking meters in that block have been removed. Lots of cars parked there yesterday, but since on-street parking is free on Sunday it shouldn't really matter. Are they ever going to make a proper space out of that stretch by SmashBurger which used to be a driveway?

Is there an official process or point of contact to inquire about parking spaces? I recall bumping into a lady calculating distances for adding parking spots back in for Bainbridge as they were wrapping up.
