Demolition of the interior of the Apex Building is moving full steam ahead. Debris piles can be seen inside and outside of the building, which was home to the Regal Cinemas Bethesda 10 theater, the Brown Bag, Food, Wine & Co. and many other offices and businesses. The building will be replaced by Carr Properties' massive 7272 Wisconsin mixed-use project.

What day were these pictures taken? It has been rainy all day in this area.
9:07 & 9:24 = unsigned unpaid intern
0 proof of that. Again.
9:40AM zero proof of the asbestos claim? Agreed. It's a nutty troll.
9:32AM = unsigned paid shill
This is 9:07 AM, I asked an honest question that was bothering me and I am called a troll. Apparently this blog is not welcome to actual questions and you become a troll instead. 9:32 is just as bad as the troll who plagues this blog.
The dream of the 90s is alive at the Apex Building.
This is the strangest blog.
For a light rail system that'll lever get built. Marriott should have gone there.
Just curious as to why you think Marriott should go here? They obviously weren't interested in this location for what ever reason.
7:06 - It's closer to Metro for one thing. They were in fact looking at this site and others.
The other option, which they went with, may have been bigger not sure.
Ahhhh
Where have the junior drug dealers moved to?
Marriott will regret moving into downtown Bethesda. While access to Metro is nice for some, many current employees do not live anywhere Metro. The additional commute from the current location (with multiple interstate entrances) into downtown will be unbearable. Other large employers have fled downtown - but Marriott will be stuck there.
