The entrance to a parking lot alongside 7900 Wisconsin Avenue has been sealed off. Asbestos removal is underway, and the building will soon be demolished to make way for the JBG Companies' 7900 Wisconsin mixed-use project, to be anchored by Trader Joe's.

"to be anchored by Trader Joe's"
It's that still wishful thinking by the developer? Or has TD at least signed a letter of intent?
Isn't*
I'm not sure if they've signed. TJ's could move and let Target take over their space @Shops.
It's certainly be nice if TJ moved, 8:09, but I think the point is Dyer isn't properly reporting the facts by claiming it's already done.
Yikes...comments are brutal. Hate to see what folks in general say about Robert. Based on these comments, it makes sense why he lost the election by such an astounding vote count.
4:58: My source was a JBG employee - you know, just the developer of the whole project. Nice try, chump.
8:09: I suspect the cemetery precincts coming in strong for Riemer was a much likelier explanation for that illegal and tainted vote count. No wonder Brian Frosh won't let the commission see the Montgomery County voting data. He knows what it will reveal.
" All 3 of those people are even older than me (though I'm not nearly 50), and all three of them "blame Facebook and dead people" (and Russia!) for costing Hillary Clinton an election she never had a chance to win "
Robert your comments come back to haunt you. You posted this in the other article, and yet here you are blaming "dead people" for your past election loss and even a future one that you keep trying to deny being in.
6:09: Huh? Your criticism of my comments on voter fraud - including the use of dead voters' names by illegals to commit such fraud - is exactly what I was responding to on that other post. We're hearing every day about elections being "hacked" and illegitimate results, and so we really need to get to the bottom of that in Montgomery County. The evidence is clear, as Brian Frosh and Ben Cardin warned at a press conference last year. That's why it's so strange that Frosh is now trying to hide voter data from scrutiny.
So you're pro voter-suppression?
Frosh isn't trying to hide anything, he's keeping YOUR private information safe. No need to make it easier for the Russians to hack. This way they have to hack all 51 states/DC rather than have the info handed to then by the current administration.
Wouldn't it raise less suspicion if Frosh would simply argue for securing the data, and making sure it wasn't connected to outside internet? The various data points are being sought with good reason, as things like SS# are relevant to voter fraud.
Dyer hates Frosh because he defeated his dad. Lol
7:49: We won't know if Frosh did until Frosh releases the voter data so we can find out. Lol
Here is a rather revealing conversation on Robert Dyer's RocvilleNutz hobby blog:
Natty Bo June 26, 2017 at 9:49 AM*
"This seems to be pissing off Robert and a lot of conservative nuts, so beyond supporting it on merit, I find it even more joy in it passing."
Robert Dyer June 28, 2017 at 9:40 AM
"You find joy in MS-13 executing a 15 year old girl from Montgomery County? Sick! The real 'nuts' are the ones inviting an invasion of criminal illegal aliens for personal and political gain."
Anonymous June 28, 2017 at 10:22 AM
"Like my ancestors did [with] your criminal relatives when they let your kind in?"
Robert Dyer June 29, 2017 at 4:38 AM
"I'm not an immigrant. My ancestors were here before the nation was formed."
Anonymous June 29, 2017 at 2:05 PM
"So you've always been an immigrant hater?"
Robert Dyer June 30, 2017 at 11:10 AM
"Where is the hate from me? Is suggesting we should obey federal laws, 'hate?'"
Anonymous July 5, 2017 at 6:20 AM
"So how much Native ancestry do you have, Robert?"
Robert Dyer July 5, 2017 at 8:27 AM
"6:20: I don't know, but what I do know is that my European ancestors were here prior to the country being established. There was no nation state to emigrate to, hence I am not an immigrant. Conquerors. Settlers. But not immigrants."
*Unlike in Dyer's "Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row" blog, all time-stamps in RockvilleNutz are correctly in Eastern Time.
And just what does this conversation "reveal," considering I stand by what I wrote? And what does it have to do with a parking lot closing? At least the discussion on RockvilleNights.com was on-topic,
Robert, if you had to guess based on other buildings that you've covered from demo to being rebuilt, when do you think this building will be built and finished how many years? More like 2 or 4-5?
