WSSC tackles another water main break in Bethesda (Video+Photos)
The latest water main to burst is at the intersection of Old Georgetown Road and Del Ray Avenue, just a block over from the one on Cordell Avenue that lasted several days. This is also near where the WSSC had troubles caused by another utility damaging their infrastructure while digging under the roadway last year.

Are all these breaks part of the old infrastructure that WSSC is currently replacing?
Was that a water main break? I got an Alert Montgomery notification about a gas leak on Del Ray, I assumed that's what the crew was out taking care of. Were there multiple work groups out?
It was a gas line break, not a water break. Cripes.
The fact that there was not a sea of water and/or ice around the excavation should have been your clue, Dyer.

WSSC works on gas lines now, in addition to water? Good to know. Washington Gas had better watch their backs!
1:00 PM What has to be corrected? WSSC was working on this, not Washington Gas.
1:56 - Why would WSSC work on a gas line break?
Hysterical to hear trolls claiming this was a gas leak. Look at the picture - there is water and ice all around the vehicles - which happen to say WSSC ON THEIR DOORS.
So glad this water and ice has disproved Global Warming.
...That's why I asked if there were multiple crews out. I got a text message alert from Alert Montgomery that there was a gas leak on Del Ray. Would you like a screenshot? That's why I asked if there multiple crews out, because I assumed any work crews out would have been dealing with the gas leak.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't get the purpose of the video shots. A quick flash and buzz of some piece of equipment, motot running.
Someone fill me in? What am I missing?
Anna @ 12:15 PM - The video was one second or less. Not even worth the effort of moving the cursor and clicking. A GIF would have been far better.
