The Maizon Bethesda apartments are now taking on a strong hint of their final appearance at 7500 Arlington Road, It's very striking how close the windows of the apartments on the lower floors are to the traffic passing on Arlington Road. Most apartment buildings countywide have at least a modest setback from the sidewalk. Hopefully the Soviet-apartment-bloc vibe created by the block-length massing will be tempered by the final facade treatments. Maizon is developed by ZOM Living, and is scheduled for delivery in 2021.
