If you're trying to leave Pike & Rose and get back to Rockville Pike, it's advisable to use the Rose Avenue exit right now. Attempting to turn left from Grand Park Avenue onto Old Georgetown Road to reach the Pike hasn't been possible for about a month now. You can literally wait forever in the left lane to turn out of Grand Park - the light will never turn green for you, at least when I've been there.
The malfunction could cause an accident. Over the last few weeks, frustrated drivers have tried going through the red light, and making a u-turn or backing up to head back north on Grand Park.
