Between the pandemic and long construction delays, the rumor mill has been active regarding the arrival of Hawkers Asian Street Fare on Bethesda Lane. But as you can see from these photos, tremendous progress has been made in the last few weeks inside their future Bethesda Row space. Enjoy this sneak preview!
There are even lit signs and decorative elements in place at the various stalls, which are designed to resemble the individual vendor spaces inside food halls. It looks like we could definitely be getting our first taste of Hawkers in the not-so-distant future.

In many of your shots I see the "UP ALL NIGHT TO GET RITE" sign, will some of these stalls have late night hours? That flies in the face of MoCo rules and the rolled up B-town sidewalks at night.
From what I have read, other Hawker’s have been extremely popular, with hour long lines out of the door on Friday and Saturday evenings. I believe they feature small plates for sharing, so you can try lots of different dishes at low cost. Looking forward to seeing how they do.
