Bethesda Exxon station site acquired by Donohoe
Donohoe has purchased the gas station property at 8240 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda, through an LLC entity. The Bethesda-based estate development, management and construction firm has long planned to redevelop the site as an office or biotech building, which would be addressed as 8280 Wisconsin. About a month after the sale closed earlier this summer, the gas station on the property switched branding from Sunoco to Exxon. The property sold for $11,425,000, according to Maryland real estate records.

There goes the last car wash in Bethesda.
For the love of your car please don’t take it through that kind of car wash.
strange - we have so many car dealerships, and only one car wash, soon to go.
@4:36 PM, That's not the last car wash. The Sunoco station 8216 Wisconsin Ave has a car wash.
That is the former Sunoco station on Wisconsin Avenue. It is now an Exxon Mobil.
@METaphor, I got the address wrong, I'm referring to the Sunoco at 8240 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, that has a car wash, and maybe the last in Bethesda.
Still the same car wash. They converted to an exxon a couple of months ago.
