Larger sign installed at Tacombi in Bethesda
Construction on the interior of Tacombi at 4749 Bethesda Avenue has stalled out since October 2021. But a new, larger sign was installed over the storefront last Thursday. It looks like this one may actually light up. We're now nearing one year since I broke the story about New York's "absolute best taco" coming to Bethesda, and we still don't have an opening date.

Looks great. Can't wait for this to open and give some additional activity to Bethesda Row.
Hopefully there's enough taco demand:
1) Tacombi
2) Fish Taco
3) Chaia
4) Mexicue
5) Uncle Julio's
All within a few blocks of each other.
New York & Tacos just don't sound appetizing together. Just saying.
I had tacos in Mexico City. The corn tortillas were made daily and nice and soft. Interesting toppings such has Suso and other soft bits from the head. Not a great place for vegans.
Which one from the list a 8:56 is like that? Learning

Have a look at the menus and see if they have what you like:
1) Tacombi: https://www.tacombi.com
2) Fish Taco: https://fishtacoonline.com
3) Chaia: https://www.chaiatacos.com
4) Mexicue: https://www.mexicue.com
5) Uncle Julios: https://unclejulios.com
It isn't just the menu. I think it was the hand made delicious, soft, tortillas in Mexico.
And the yummy sauces; unfortunately I have no idea what the ingredients were.
