The new, limited-time-only Cheesy Jalapeno Bacon Quarter Pounder is starting to pop up at McDonald's restaurants in Montgomery County. It is scheduled to be released nationwide on July 10, 2023, but once again our local McDonald's locations are serving it earlier than the national release. The fresh 100% beef patty is topped with two slices of melted American cheese, "thick cut" Applewood smoked bacon, pickled jalapenos, and a cheese sauce. A Quarter Pounder without the raw onions? "Inconceivable!!"

The McDonalds on River Rd in Bethesda is not only the ONLY Fast Food Restaurant in Bethesda, it’s also the ONLY Drive-Thru McDonalds in Northwest D.C., Bethesda, North Bethesda, Potomac and Cabin John ! Worth it to go over there not to have to get out of the car !
The area between the Beltway, the Potomac River and Rock Creek seems to be a fast-food exclusion zone, both in DC and MoCo County.
-3 McDonalds
-1 Popeyes
-No Burger King
-No Wendy's
-No KFC
-No Taco Bell
-No Roy Rogers
@ 6:04 PM - The McDonald's in North Bethesda (formerly White Flint) and "Cabin John" (actually Potomac) do have drive-thru lanes.
Also there are drive-thru lanes in the three McDonald's on Georgia Avenue NW in DC.
But none in the Popeyes in Montgomery County south of Rockville and Glenmont nor in the one in Tenleytown.
Good Point about Georgia Ave NW, but I don’t know if everyone is comfortable going in to that neighborhood. I’m not,
By the way, the White Flint McDonalds is NOT Drive Thru even though Google Maps says that it is !!! It is a mis-print !!
