First look: remodeled Verizon store in Bethesda (Photos)

The Verizon store on Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda has been getting a makeover recently. This includes rebranding with the wireless giant's new logo. A small sliver of the store's space is continuing to provide service to customers during the renovations.

This store has awful customer service, I avoid it.

I find them quick and polite but they don't always know what they're doing.

Exactly! They have steered me wrong twice in the past, causing me to be charged extra $$ on my bills. the second time I had to go back to the store to complain, the employee I spoke with was so very rude!! I will never go back there again. It's ridiculous, especially since I have been a Verizon customer for a very long time, and have rarely had an issue. It was so upsetting that they would treat their customers this way.

It's a madhouse usually with long waits to see a representative. Maybe they'll hire more staff?
I deal with Verizon online or on the phone whenever possible.

This spot is a paid commercial advertisement brought to you by Dyer.

For a bit of comic relief while you're waiting, you can watch the poor saps get their cars towed from the mattress store lot, because they were too lazy to read the signs.
