Taste of Bethesda will be getting the majority of attention in Bethesda's Woodmont Triangle today, but don't forget to stop by the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad's annual Rescue Day during the same time - 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Their station house is a short walk from Taste of Bethesda to 5020 Battery Lane.
The highlight of Rescue Day is the landing of a medevac helicopter. Meet the flight medics, and get a close-up look at the inside of the chopper. Plenty of the latest BCC Rescue Squad equipment will also be on display, as well as their vintage 1972 Cadillac ambulance, Rescue 15.
Tour the station, watch equipment demonstrations, and find out how you can volunteer with the Squad. For kids, there will be free firefighter helmets and a moon bounce, among other activities.

I hope the rain lets up...
Support our local heroes.
I hope they bust into Mom's Basement and rescue Dyer from a life of failure.
8:54AM: Your envy knows no bounds.
There is a long list of failed Bethesda blogs: Patch, Bethesda NOW, etc.
Some of those failures drove the blogger mad with envy towards Dyer. Some have Trump like excuses for their blogging failures.
Fast forward to today and Robert Dyer has a successful blog with a surging audience in the most educated and affluent area in the country. Hardly a "failure" just because he's not claiming to make $1 million in revenues. Support small businesses like Dyer's.

10:49AM Good for you! The first step is admitting. Good luck with your rehab.
There is obviously a stolen car ring becoming more brazen every day in Bethesda
The kenwood list is crazy in the last 2 days
Do the Montgomery county police do anything? Has one burgulary or one stolen car been solved in last year? I am not seeing anything. Obviously Montgomery county police was formed when Bethesda sleepy safe town ....it's a big city now with a clueless police force
Is anybody starting neighborhood patrols?
Again, until you learn to spell burglary you won't be taken seriously.
Have you been to the neighborhood meetings with police? Yeah, didn't think so.
