The ATM has been installed at the future EagleBank branch at 7735 Old Georgetown Road in downtown Bethesda. More signage and logo awnings have also been attached to the exterior of the bank. The branch is scheduled to open this spring.

Is that an EagleBank? I couldn’t really tell, except for the NINE places on the outside that say it’s an EagleBank...I hope they put some more signage and decals on the windows, once they are open, so we can really find the place. Maybe a big Eagle mascot rotating an EagleBank sign at the corner would help as well.
All that's going to be left in Bethesda is Bank Branches... The Downtown core businesses are rotting away thanks to the corrupt MoCo Cartel.
I wouldn’t go that far. Downtown still has nearly 200 restaurants and 500 businesses. Certainly many are shuttered or closing, but the restaurant and retail density is way above neighboring communities. I believe that downtown Bethesda will remain a destination for the region.
Downtown Chevy Chase, on the other hand, has a much bigger problem attracting restaurants, retailers and businesses many of which have relocated to Bethesda and City Center DC. JBG Smith is a very good example of a firm that realizes the merits of Bethesda, having moved their HQ from Chevy Chase. Even Marriott is undertaking a massive move of just a few miles, just to be close to transit and a walkable downtown. The Wilson is fully leased and it is not even open yet. They have signed a big lease for a large bakery on the ground level facing the new Wisconsin Plaza. The new Hawker’s seems to be very popular, even with just their outdoor dining and carry out available.

The last business at that location was a healthcare company that was purchased by a larger out-of-state healthcare company. That hardly screams "rotting away".

What Bethesda needs is more places like Hawkers and fewer places like Eagle Bank.
