UPDATE: Fire department responds to Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in Bethesda, finds no fire


UPDATE: Firefighters found no fire after arriving at the scene. According to an email from the property manager of 7770 Norfolk, a vehicle struck the sprinkler system in the building's parking garage. This triggered fire alarms throughout the building, including at the restaurant.

Fire alarms are sounding at Anthony's Coal-Fired Pizza at 7776 Norfolk Avenue in downtown Bethesda. Fire trucks have just begun pulling up outside the restaurant.

I live in the building that Anthony's is in. We got an email that a car hit a fire sprinkler in the parking garage in the building, which is what triggered the alarm and fire department presence.
