Contractors are installing new sidewalk pavers on Arlington Road in front of two adjacent properties. One is the new EuroMotors Audi Bethesda dealership (above), which is under construction on the old Goodyear site. The other is the recently-constructed 7001 Arlington Road apartment building (below).

You mean the “recently” constructed 7001 building that was opened 4 years ago?
I noticed that the Audi building looks nothing like the rendering that was posted on their fence. I still don’t get why their is no design review or public input for projects built in MoCo like the Audi and EuroMotors buildings. Bethesda BOZ projects do get reviewed by the DAP, and include community meeting and public meetings where we can weight in, but not projects like this. Why are new (smaller) projects like this excluded from planning. DAP and public review?
Most communities have a planning review process that includes public input, for ALL new projects.
I would still love to know who has that contract.
