La Catrina Bar & Lounge will try it again at 4935 Cordell Avenue in downtown Bethesda. The Mexican restaurant and nightspot had to postpone its original scheduled opening several weeks ago. Now a new date has been set for this Friday, December 9, 2022. Dinner service will begin at 5:00 PM. The dance floor will open at 10:00 PM with DJ Zoom, who is coming down from New York City for the event.

Caddies and Gringos might run hard to beat specials that day!
According to the bartender last night, the county has shut down their nightclub on the second floor due to licensing or permitting issues. The Bartender said that when they applied for the permit they were denied. For three weeks now they’ve had no business due to having to shut the night club down.
