Here is a look at the converted storefront for the new GW Primary Care clinic at 7137 Arlington Road at Bethesda Row. GW Medical Faculty Associates, which operates six existing clinics in the District and Northern Virginia, indicates this location will offer primary and specialty care services, but not the immediate care services it provides at three of its DC clinics. This space in the Upstairs at Bethesda Row apartment building will serve the primary care functions, and a second-floor office around on Elm Street will handle specialty care patients. No opening date has been announced, but the clinic is still seeking an administrative assistant, a medical assistant, and a nurse practitioner.

We are very fortunate to have these urgent care facilities opening up which are connected to larger healthcare systems, GW, MedStar, etc. The one that is next door to Suburban Florist on Old Geo'twn, which many went to previously, is dark, dingy and uninviting. It's only a matter of time now when that will be torn down. Glad to see this latest addition.
Uh, if you read carefully it does not sound like an urgent care facility. And I like the one on Old Georgetown Rd.
