Washington Gas Woodmont Triangle project continues (Photos)

A major Washington Gas utility project continued in the Woodmont Triangle neighborhood of downtown Bethesda Thursday. Washington Gas employees closed off Fairmont Avenue between Wisconsin and Woodmont Avenues Thursday afternoon to dig under the street. By mid-evening, the work on Fairmont had ended. Be prepared for lane or street closures in the Woodmont Triangle area, as the project continues.

I'm very upset with you removing my post from the 8200 story section, Robert. It wasn't even up for 24 hours. Yes, I used the "C" word describing a lawyer who disrespected me at the Q&A forum at Imagination Stage when I seriously inquired as to whether I get a P.O. Box sooner than later as a tenant in Aldon buildings A, B, C, D or E. Only one idiot made a comment and it was about my choice of words. And, no, I do not talk on the phone or in person at the leasing office like that. Because you have taken it down, I won't be able to read any responsible or helpful replies which in truth, would be very refreshing on your dying (pun intended) blog that's turning into a restrictive certain glossy magazine type of forum. All I wanted to know was who owns my damn building, and are Brown Development sell-offs normal business with what they are up to? Simple answers of which someone on here would know. I personally think someone got to you, like bribing a judge. Some lawyer or developer emailed you and wanted my very specific incriminating diatribe not to become public school information. Can you confirm or deny? I thought you were different, but like my politician friend Dan Zubairi has previously reminded me on several occasions, you are exactly what people know and think of you... As airport guy intimated, I am announcing my departure. bye-bye boring blog, and thanks for nothing!

10:28: No one at or affiliated with Brown Development contacted me about your comment. The foul language - which I missed when first approving your comment - was a violation of the comment rules. I thought you had a legitimate argument in your comment, which is why I approved it initially, but was alerted to the language by a couple of readers who were offended by it.

If you can post such a legitimate argument without the vulgar language, I likely would approve it. It is somewhat relevant to the 8200 story in that it was in regards to other nearby issues with the same property owner. But I have to maintain a family-friendly discussion forum within the comments section.
