The Salt Line at Bethesda Row is completing preparations to begin offering outdoor seating at 4900 Hampden Lane. It's not just tables on the public sidewalk. An appropriately nautical-themed elevated patio deck has been constructed on the Hampden Lane side of the restaurant. The tables are small, and they even accommodated a street tree in the middle of it.

Now that's like the cart before the horse. TIMING!
That must have been some good single malt scotch to get the permit for this structure on the sidewalk. I'm impressed.
This restaurant has a ridiculously large seating capacity. Hope they didn't bite off too much.
Best new restaurant addition in Bethesda in quite some time.
Looks nice, other than the pitted sidewalk being left untouched.
Get a side order of Parker rolls for $5? Yow.
12:09 - I don't think that will deter many in one of the most affluent suburbs in the country. Their other location across from Nats Park is packed all the time. This will do very well indeed here.
