Bethesda Place apartments upgrades entrance (Photos)

A new awning appeared not that long ago at the Bethesda Place apartments, at 7701 Woodmont Avenue. It's been blank, however, until now. The building's name and address now grace the red canopy, as the previous generation of apartment towers find ways to stay fresh amidst new, luxury competitors downtown.

The finishing touches were being applied as these photos were taken.

Nice and new, but not exactly fresh and modern.

Have you ever considered signing up for the county's sign commission? You know a lot of about signage.

Well, thank God that they did that. That block was really starting to look like Westbard.

Who? Me or Dyer? I work for a graphics design company and we make lots of signs.

Vote Robert Dyer for Sign Commission! This man loves signs!

Too bad current sign commissioner Han Rieber gets political funding from BIG SIGN to block Robert Dyer's rightful place on the commission.
