There's no mention of whether or not Waverly Street will be available as a detour option during the closure. The only other way to access East-West Highway from Wisconsin would be a roundabout detour to get back to Pearl Street near Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School.

Thank goodness the paving is finally going to be done. The trenches they have dug into the street are annoying to deal with right now.
