New view from above downtown Bethesda shown at 7770 Norfolk party

Here's what downtown Bethesda might look like to you from your new luxury condo at JBG's 7770 Norfolk condo tower. The newest addition to the Woodmont Triangle neighborhood was celebrated at a packed party atop one of the neighborhood's newer restaurant additions, Urban Heights, Thursday evening.

Guests were able to preview floorplans, and the building's sales office at the corner of Norfolk and St. Elmo Avenues opens today. Learn more about the 17-story building's amenities and prices on its official website.

Hmmm... I'm pretty sure that Dyer didn't take that first picture.

When will residents be allowed to start moving in? Also as an aside I didn't know people bought studio or 1bdr den condos!

Anyway this building came up really fast even accounting for the delay. Technology.

Studio condos. Ugh what a bad space.

What delay?

I think the smaller unit sizes are due to the fact that this was originally going to be rental apartments.

Ah that makes sense.

So that view actually isn't of Bethesda btw. Nice project though. Hopefully JBG will begin 7900 Wisconsin soon...

Yes please do 7900 ASAP!

Does the gym still think they'll be around as JBG tears down the building around them for 7900? lol.

I just took a closer look. I don't even think that's a city in the USA.

Love the big smokestacks (visible to the left of the leftmost chandelier). And the mountains on the right side. LOL

No need to link outside of Dyer's site. He broke the story about Fitness First's "expansion".

The rendering's stools are too high for the countertop. :)

Wow, there is some serious PhotoShopFail in that picture.

In addition to the landscape, which appears to be somewhere in Europe or Latin America, and the stools (3-inch clearance under the counter), there is also the nonsensical reflection of that chair on the balcony. And also the weird reflections of some unknown light source between two of the barstools, another next to the rightmost of the chandeliers, and another in front of the left front leg of the dining table.

The actual building looks nothing like the colorful renderings. It's just white walls, gray glass, and a reddish thing on top. It's ugly and doesn't fit the surroundings.
