Shuttered Quincy's Bethesda hasn't paid rent since November, landord says (Photo)
It's starting to look like my source who said Quincy's is closed for good in Bethesda was correct. A court summons was posted on the door of the bar yesterday, which asserts the owners haven't paid rent to the landlord since November. Quincy's, located at 4920 Del Ray Avenue, has been "temporarily closed" for over two weeks.

When a bar doesn't open for a Friday St. Patrick's Day, you know it's dead.
16 hours, 7 minutes.
Yeah, we all know who "your source" is.
Dyer doesn't usually take photos head-on. You can see a reflection of his trench coat below the notice.
So much for the "HVAC problems".
I can't believe some folks fell for that one. :)
PizzaPass and Bethesda Barbecue all over again.
7:15: We all received the same tip yesterday. Grow up, """"""". Believe me you don't want to go there on this story, considering that a) I broke this story over 2 weeks ago and cited a source who said it was closed permanently, and b) the other website fell for the old Pizza Pass HVAC bit, and claimed it would reopen before we all got the same email about the summons.
If you don't stop lying about me, I'm going to start telling the truth about you.
Dyer, if "you all got the same email", then why did it take you so much longer to publish your article?
Hypocritical, lying birdbrain!
Dyer did in fact suspect the HVAC issues was a ruse... I didn't read that anywhere first. Just sayin'...
Hah, I know that form well. Filled it out many times while evicting a tenant a few years ago.
As I recall, the court dates are on Mondays at 9am. Dyer should head down there to see if the defendants show up and see if they come up with an excuse. When I was going there, about half the cases the defendant didn't even show up and the court ruled in favor of the plaintiff.
Best news all week. Good bye Quincy's. Good but Arnie. You're not exactly batting a 1000. They will not reopen.
now if only dyer would leave bethesda too!
I'm sitting in the other place now... good job Arnie.
