Jeff's Best Soft Serve opens in Bethesda

Jeff's Best Soft Serve ice cream shop appears to have opened in Bethesda. The shop is actually a self-serve vending machine. Hours will be Tuesday-Thursday and Sunday 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The shop closes on Mondays so they can clean the machine.

I think the tag should be 'Bethesda Vending Machines', not 'Bethesda Restaurants'.

Where in Bethesda?

Dumbest idea I've ever seen. Put this in a gas station or grocery store not in the heart of Bethesda. Massive failure in the making.

Actually it's 45 employees total - which still seems like a lot, but remember that they are open 24 hours, so that would be divided between 3 shifts.

The article said that there would be "some" layoffs, without specifying a number. You know, like Dyer's readership numbers.

Absolutely right. Stupid idea.

Looks like there is no attendant?

What's to keep someone from pooping in the supply of chocolate soft-serve ice cream?

Hilarious! Or hooking up a pickup and taking the damn thing right thru the door.

The ice cream is good I had it today. Much better than other soft serve around.
