SQUIRREL STOPS iPhone 5s SALES AT BETHESDA ROW APPLE STORE OPENING

Squirrels prefer Android; who knew?

An unexplained power outage hit Bethesda Row's Apple Store this morning, just as eager customers were waiting to get their new iPhone 5s or 5c.

Pepco searched for a cause, and later in the morning tweeted that "A squirrel made contact w/ our equipment & caused fault. I apologize for the inconvenience."

Maybe the squirrel was still mad about Apple Maps causing him to lose track of his buried acorns. [Insert angry squirrel noise here].

How long were the lines of people waiting outside?

I noticed no line Thursday evening, which surprised me. Do people still camp out overnight?
